Day Two: Search Continues for Missing Oakdale Woman Thursday Afternoon
A search team will be heading out for the second day in a row to find Danielle Jelinek, who has been missing since Saturday, Dec. 8.
The search continues for Danielle Jelinek, an Oakdale woman who has been missing for five days.
A recent post from the Danielle Mary Jelinek Search Team Facebook page informed its more than 4,200 followers of a second search that will take place Thursday afternoon starting at 1 p.m. The search will go until dark.
Searchers will meet at the Chisago City Community Center at 10825 Lake Boulevard in Chisago City.
Those joining the search are encouarged to wear warm clothes warm and to bring a long stick or hockey stick for probing the snow.
Multiple people on the the search team's Facebook page also posted regarding a potential sightings of a woman who looked similar to Jelinek:
"This might be a long shot but please have Holiday at Industrial boulevard & 35w show police their surveillance cameras between 4-430 today [Wednesday]. There was a strikingly similar woman in a big hurry leaving the store. She looked distraught . I'm sorry if I'm wrong but please have them check it out. Thanks."
"Have the police reviewed the traffic light cameras in the industrial boulevard area ? And try to see if they can see her and what kind of transportation she's in that could be a big lead"
"I thought the gentleman said he may have seen some one resembling her at a gas station Saturday, but yes need to check out all tips.. And we can help the admins on this site as there are a lot of post coming on a reg bases and they can easily miss them."
