Autopsy: White Bear Lake Man Drowned in the St. Croix River

Preliminary findings of the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's report say Ronald Bringgold drowned in the St. Croix River Saturday evening.
Bringgold was found floating in the St. Croix River about 100 yards from his boat following a boating incident just south of the Bayport Marina Saturday evening. Bringgold was brought to shore by first responders, where he was pronounced dead.
Services were held Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Cemetery in White Bear Lake.
The incident remains under investigation until the medical examiner's full report, including toxicology results, is complete. That process could take weeks.
UPDATED FROM: Saturday, March 31 at 9:30 p.m.
Authorities responded to a report of a small, unattended fishing boat that was circling at slow speed just south of the Bayport Marina at about 5:50 p.m. Saturday, Sgt. Matt Wieland of the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.
The cause of death is unknown and remains under investigation by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner and the Washington County Water Patrol. Foul play is not suspected.
It is unknown if alcohol was involved. It does not appear that anyone else was in the boat with Bringgold at the time of the incident.
Bayport Police, the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the Washington County Fire Dive Team and Lakeview paramedics responded to the scene.

Actually the Bayport Marina is in Lake Saint Croix, according to the MnDNR.
