Man Sentenced In Connection with Sexual Assault of Teenage Boy
Anthony L. Larson, 36, was convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
A 36-year-old St. Paul man was sentenced this month for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy while camping, and at his Oakdale home, according to a press release from the Washington County Attorney’s Office.
Anthony L. Larson was charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct after writing a letter in which he admitted to assaulting the boy while camping in Park Rapids, MN.
According to a Washington County criminal complaint, the boy told Oakdale police Larson also molested him in his home on two or three occasions as early as 2009.
Larson was convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and sentenced 365 days in jail, with credit for 123 days served, according to the press release. He also received a stayed sentence of 36 months in prison, the release says.
He’s required to consult with a psychiatrist and go through sex offender treatment, and he’s prohibited from unsupervised contact with minors until approved.

Why is this pig getting away with jail time, where he will surely be granted work release instead of being sent to prison?

Thank you Washington County for once again making our county the place for offenders of boys to get away with these crimes. Shame on us! - What would the sentence have been if it was a young girl??

Anthony L Larson was sentenced to 365 days in jail for changing the life of a 13 year old boy for the remainder of his. Hummmmm. Personally, I don't agree that the sentence may have been different if Anthony L Larsons victim would been a young lady- I believe that the offender and child molester Anthony L Larsons sentence would be fitting to the fact that this person FOREVER changed this victims life IF our legal system put ANY value on our victims. I assume it was degrading enough for this young man to tell what happened to him, then our legal system does this. What a joke. I am so sorry, this victim, this young man DOES matter. Bless him for having the strength to stand up for himself!
