Oakdale's winter parking regulations will begin this week.

Starting Nov. 1, residents cannot park on city streets from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. daily. This regulation will run through April 1. 

Keeping vehicles from parking on the street during this time helps snow plow drivers as they plow the snow off of more than 92 miles of Oakdale streets during the winter. 

The city has issued additional winter reminders, including:

• No on-street parking is allowed during measurable snowfall, until the streets have been plowed curb to curb.
• No snow or ice may be plowed, shoveled, blown or pushed into city streets.
• Keep snow cleared away from the front of mailboxes.
