Santa Claus, his elves and even Mrs. Claus were quite busy in Oakdale over the weekend.

Area community members dressed up as Santas and Mrs. Clauses and Tartan High School students dressed up as Santa's elves and drove throughout the Oakdale community to deliver presents to children and families in need in the community.

This was part of Holiday Helping Hands — a program sponsored by the Oakdale Business and Professional Association to provide gifts to families in Oakdale and the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District.

The program has been going on for 21 years and has delivered gifts to more than 400 children in the past.
