It's time to show some extra Tartan pride.

Tartan High School will be celebrating Homecoming Week starting with a dance and coronation on Saturday (Sept. 22). Tickets cost $8 and are on sale in the cafeteria and Media Center.

Here is a rundown of Tartan's Homecoming schedule and school themes:

Monday: Class Color Day

Event: Powder Puff Football

• 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Freshmen vs. Sophomores
• 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. - Juniors vs. Seniors

Tuesday: Hippie Day

Events: Volleyball and soccer

• 7 p.m. - Girls Volleyball vs. So. St. Paul
• 7 p.m. - Girls Soccer vs. Hill-Murray

Wednesday: Jersey Day

Event: Kickball Tournament at 6 p.m.

Thursday: America Day

Events: Bonefire, tennis, soccer, swimming, volleyball

• 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - Bonefire (weather permitting)
• 3:30 p.m. - Tennis vs. So. St. Paul
• 5 p.m. - Girls Soccer vs. Mahtomedi
• 6 p.m. - Swimming vs. North (at Skyview's pool)
• 7 p.m. - Volleyball vs. Simley 
• 7 p.m. - Boys SOccer vs. Mahtomedi

Friday: Titan Spirit Day

Events: Pep Fest, tailgating, football, dance

• 5 p.m. - Tailgating and Pep Fest
• 7 p.m. - Football vs. So. St. Paul
• 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. - Dance
