It looks like students in the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District get a snow day.

The school district closed its schools Tuesday due to the weather. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning on Saturday, stating snow would fall heavily Sunday night through Monday morning and then pick up again Monday night through Tuesday.

The school district also noted that there will be no afternoon or evening activities. Adventure Connection will also be closed.

The NWS issued another winter weather advisory Tuesday morning. Washington County should accumulate between eight and 12 inches of snow by Tuesday evening. The advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
