OAA Registration

Registration for Boys and Girls In-House Basketball is now OPEN for all kids in 3rd-8th grade! The cost is $135 for the season.

Story Time

Story time at the Oakdale Library is set for 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30.

The event features stories, songs, finger plays, and more to encourage the development of early literacy skills.

It’s for children preschool through kindergarten age. No registration required. Call the Oakdale Library at 651-730-0504 for more information.  

Bowling at PINZ

The city of Oakdale on its Facebook page posted the following on Thursday:

This is bound to bowl you over! Each Saturday (through March 7), kids (to age 18 and all skill levels) can bowl at PINZ (7520 - 32nd) for only $8. Coaches will be on hand to help players perfect their game. Plus, not only do participants get a free game of laser tag each Saturday, but at the end of the season, they'll receive an unlimited laser tag summer pass and a $25 Z card! Register at PINZ or call 651-770-8000.

Collectibles Sale

At 3645 Gershwin Lane N. in Oakdale on Friday and Saturday will be a collectibles sale featuring:

Lake Elmo Drive-in

Once again, this weekend’s forecast is shaping up nicely to catch a couple of movies at the drive-in.

Valley-Hi Drive In Theater in Lake Elmo is still open Friday-Sunday nights.

Read the Star Tribune’s story about Minnesota’s oldest drive-in movie theater's conversion from film to digital movies.

The box office opens at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturdays, and at 7 p.m. on Sundays. Shows start at 8 p.m.

Here's what is playing this weekend:

Tickets cost $8.50 a person. Kids under the age of 5 years old get in free. Tickets for kids ages 6-12 cost $1.

Credit and debit cards are not accepted, but an ATM is available on site.
