Oakdale Resident Wins $101,855 Jackpot

David Winfield of Oakdale purchased a five-line ticket for the Jan. 14 Northstar Cash drawing. That night he learned the third set of numbers on that ticket matched those drawn to win the $101,855 jackpot.

Winfield purchased his winning ticket at Dancin On Sand, 1217 Geneva Avenue, in Oakdale.

Joining Winfield were Oakdale residents Danae and Jeffrey Klimek who were among a group of five people who cashed in on a $25,000 winner by playing the lottery's Minnesota Millionaire Raffle game. 

The winning ticket, claimed on Jan. 16, was purchased at the Kwik Trip on Hadley Avenue in Oakdale.

Earlier this month Kimberly Giddings of Inver Grove Heights won the $25,000 Northstar Cash jackpot from the drawing on Jan. 15. Her ticket matched the winning numbers 5-14-19-20-24 drawn that night to win the jackpot.

Giddings purchased her winning ticket at Yocum’s Holiday, located at 2030 Eagle Creek Lane, in Woodbury. She claimed the prize on Jan. 16.
