Potential Foster Parents for Adults Can Get More Info Dec. 2

Any Washington County resident who wants to foster an adult must attend one of these meetings.

If you have some room in your home and heart for an adult who needs care, you should plan to attend a meeting next month in Stillwater.

"Washington County requires interested people to attend an informational meeting, which will provide an overview of the foster care program," according to a news release from Washington County. "For those who decide to become licensed to provide foster care for adults, the licensing process begins at no cost to them."

The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, in the Lower Level Room 12 in the Washington County Government Center in Stillwater.

The county will do an extensive background check of anyone who is interested in caring for adults.

Call 651-430-6455 to RSVP, for additional information or if you have questions.
