Donations Needed for Benefit in Memory of Devin Aryal

A benefit for the family of Devin Aryal will be held on Saturday, April 13. Event organizers are seeking donations for the silent auction and raffle items.

Community members are throwing a benefit for Devin Aryal and they are asking for some help.

The benefit will be in memory of Devin Aryal, a 9-year-old Oakdale boy who was fatally shot in what police call a random shooting on Feb. 11. Devin, who was a fourth-grader at Oakdale Elementary, was riding in the backseat of his mother's vehicle on the way home from day care.

The benefit will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 at Dukes Pizza Pub & Grill. There will be a silent auction (last call for silent auction at 5:30 p.m.), a raffle and door prizes. A $10 donation will get attendees the All-You-Can-Eat Pizza Buffet at Dukes.

According to the event flyer, "(Devin) was a quiet, shy little boy who loved to play soccer and wanted to grow up and be an astronaut."

Organizers are requesting help with donations for the raffle and silent auction. They will be accepting donations through April 10.

If you would like to donate items for the raffle or auction, or if you want more information contact Pariseau at 651-428-3892 or at tpariseau@hotmail.com

If you cannot attend the benefit, monetary donations can be made to the Devin Aryal Memorial Fund at any US Bank.
