Get Out: Art Exhibit, Road Races This Weekend

When: Friday, Aug. 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: King of Kings Lutheran Church
Why Go: Check out the artwork of 21 artists working in various mediums including oil, fused glass, wood and more.
Price: Free




When: Saturday, Aug. 13 at 8 a.m.
Where: Joshua Taylor Building (3394 Lake Elmo Ave. N.)
Why Go: The Lions Club invites kids for the 1k fun run and all others for the ¼ marathon at 8:30 a.m.
Price: Race day registration for adults is $20.



When: Saturday, Aug. 13 at 7:13 p.m.
Where: Lake Elmo Park Reserve (1515 Keats Ave N, Lake Elmo)
Why Go: In collaboration with Washington County Parks, Wildlife Science Center will present a campfire program featuring wolves.
Price: The program is free as long as a $5 permit has been purchased for the vehicle.
