Get Out in Oakdale

Oakdale's weekend entertainment guide to fall festivities, football and disc golf.

Thursday, the one day Oakdale Patch loves telling you what to do.




When: Friday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Cheer on the local boys as they kick off against Hill-Murray.
Price: Adults $6, Students $4




When: Saturday, Oct. 1 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Take it easy with Mr. Robert Elwood...the long lost Blues brother.
Price: No cover charge




When: Saturday, Oct. 1 & Sunday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Behind the in Stillwater
Why Go: As the colors change along the St. Croix River, the 26th annual festival invites all to enjoy over 80 art exhibits and various Jazz performers.
Price: Free general admission


   

When: Saturday, Oct. 1 & Sunday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Afton Apple (14421 South 90th Street, Hastings)
Why Go: Head out to Afton for a day of apple picking, hayrides, cider pressing demonstrations, live folk/bluegrass music, petting farm, corn maze and other autumnal activities.
Price: $3 Ages 5+, $2 Ages 4 and under




When: Sunday, Oct. 2 from 12 to 4 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Get out on a glorious fall afternoon and try a round of Disc Golf, 9 or 18 holes.
Price: Free, but do bring a disc if you have one.
