"ITS" Summer Fun

The In the Streets van gives Oakdale a roving summer program for children throughout the city to enjoy.

Many parents would much rather have their children go outside to play, than stay glued to video games all day.

With the Oakdale Park and Recreation Department's In the Streets program cruising the city in a giant van, children and parents get the best of both worlds.

The In the Streets van contains an endless amount of activities for children to enjoy outdoors. A giant chess set, sporting equipment and even a Wii video game are available for children to play with outdoors under the supervision of the Parks and Recreation Department.
