Mark Your Calendars: March Events in Oakdale

Looking for some fun activities do to in Oakdale? Here is a list of upcoming events in March:

March 2

Indoor Market

This will be the second-to-last indoor market of the season at the Oakdale Discovery Center. Stock up on brats, books, butters, baked goods, sweets, syrups, sauces, spices, strudel, salsas, scarves, jams, jellies, jewelry, and so much more! The indoor market will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. 

March 9-10

Spring Craft Sale

The Guardian Angels Crafters will host their annual Spring Craft Sale at Guardian Angels Church from 1-7 p.m. on March 9 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 10.  In addition to the many beautiful crafts, there will be a bake sale and raffle for a spring wall hanging. New this year is a clearance room, with considerable markdowns. Be sure to stop in to get your Easter, Mother's Day and spring birthday gifts. All proceeds from the sale will be used to replace windows in the Parish House which is being used for the Hope for the Journey Home Shelter.

March 13

Homemade Soup Supper

Everyone is invited to come enjoy wonderful homemade soups, sandwiches, and dessert at Holy Cross Lutheran Church from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Worship will follow each soup supper at 7:00 p.m.  The cost is a free will offering.

March 16

March 20

Homemade Soup Supper

Everyone is invited to come enjoy wonderful homemade soups, sandwiches, and dessert at Holy Cross Lutheran Church from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Worship will follow each soup supper at 7:00 p.m.  The cost is a free will offering.

March 23

Oakdale Home Improvement Fair

Get ready for the city's Home Improvement Fair at Skyview Middle School. There will be more than 60 contractors to share ideas, answer questions and share new trends. Free admission and free kids activities, refreshments and door prizes. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

March 30

Family Skating Day

Bring the family to Tartan Arena from 1-3 p.m. for an afternoon of ice skating and hot chocolate. 

Mystery Egg Hunt, 9 a.m., Oakdale Discovery Center, Saturdya March 30th

Oakdale’s annual mystery egg hunt is back. After locating an egg hidden along the trails in the picturesque Oakdale Nature Preserve, kids (up to age 10) turn it in for a fun prize. The $11 entry fee also includes refreshments, games, crafts, petting zoo and a bounce castle. This year’s event will be held at 9 a.m. There are no residency requirements to participate. Please sign up by March 22 at the Oakdale Discovery Center. 

Friday & Saturday Nights

Live music takes place at Dreamcoat Coffee every Friday and Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $3. Check our calendar for specific bands performing.
