Oakdale Garden Club Gathers Over Herbs and Vinegar
Anyone can join the Oakdale Garden Club.
Come winter, the members of the Oakdale Garden Club will have something on their kitchen counters to remind them of the summer growing season.
The group gathered Monday, Aug. 8, at a member's home, where they picked fresh herbs and then bottled them with vinegars for use with salads or cooking, according to an email from club president Jane Klein.
"The evening was fun and we had a few new visitors to share our passion for gardening with," she said."Mother Nature gave us a perfect summer evening to enjoy on the deck with friends."
