Garden Boulevard Park (http://patch.com/L-q8KX)
For a serene picnic spot, Oakdale's Garden Boulevard Park is the perfect place. The park contains a wetland, large weeping willows, a picnic pagoda and a circular trail with benches along the way where you can sit and enjoy the environs.

Tanners Lake Park (http://patch.com/L-qCV1)
What's more Minnesotan than a picnic by the lake? With its beach, dock, sand volleyball court and picnic shelter, Tanners Lake Park is a great place to spend a summer afternoon.

Woodbury's Central Park (http://patch.com/L-qrK7)
Just because it's raining doesn't mean you can't enjoy a picnic with the family. Woodbury's Central Park has indoor space that features a lush garden and plenty of tables. There are also spots outside the park, located in the center of the city.

Edgewater Park (http://patch.com/L-qrKH)
If you're looking for some activities to go along with your picnic, give Edgewater Park in Woodbury a shot. It has a large grassy area where you can spread out your blanket, or play some bocce ball, and tennis courts, basketball hoops and a playground.
