When November rolls around, folks in Minnesota and Wisconsin know that snow is coming soon.
But it's still a bit of a surprise when it starts to fall for the first time each year.
Snow started falling in the Twin Cities area before noon Saturday, and anywhere from 2 to 4 inches was expected to accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.
