Brief: Featured Artist at Oakdale Discovery Center

The city on Friday announced next month’s featured artist at the Oakdale Discovery Center, located at 4444 Hadley Ave.

In April, the photography and stitched nature scenes of Shauna Holt will be on display.

Each month, the work of a local artist or artisan is displayed at the Oakdale Discovery Center.

Hours for the Discovery Center are:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: noon to 4 p.m.
• Sunday: 1-4 p.m.
