Get Out in Oakdale: Theater, Art, Recreation and a Free Movie

When: Friday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m.

Why Go: Kick the weekend off with Casper the Friendly Ghost.

When: Friday, Oct. 21 & Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.
Where: Century College (3300 Century Avenue N, White Bear Lake)
Why Go: Century College Theater presents The Diviners, a drama regarding the relationship between a disturbed young man and a disenchanted preacher during the 1930s.
Price: Tickets will be available one hour prior to each show. Adults $8, Century Students Free with Century ID, Patrons 17 and under are Free. Patrons 55 and older and Century staff $5.




When: Saturday, Oct. 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Century College West Campus (3300 Century Avenue N, White Bear Lake)
Why Go: The Century College Information Technology Association has collaborated with 5R Processors to host a community electronic recycling day accepting a variety of electronic .
Price: Free; except items containing Freon such as refrigerators will be accepted for $25




When: Saturday, Oct. 22 & Sunday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4p.m.
Where: Stillwater American Legion Post 48 (103 3rd Street S)
Why Go: Explore the recently found murals depicting scenes of WWI, WWII and Korea by Minnesota artist Jo Lutz Rollins. Historians will be on hand to field questions.
Price: Free




When: Saturday, Oct. 22 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Why Go: Stretch out that not so distant memory of summer and head to the pool.
Price: $4 per adult and $3 per student/child, or $10 per family of 5
