Editor's Notebook: Caribou Coffee Gives Timeline for New Shops

The coffee shop chain is planning new locations in Bergen Plaza and at the intersection of Century Avenue and Highway 36.

If all goes according to plan, Oakdale will have two new Caribou Coffee shops by the end of the summer, according to a company representative.

The company plans to open a location in the former Blockbuster Video store in Bergen Plaza in early summer and another location at the former Kwik Stop gas station northeast of the Highway 36/Century Avenue intersection in late summer, said Alfredo Martel, senior vice president of marketing and product management.
