New Oakdale Restaurant is All About Burgers

Five Guys Burgers and Fries had its grand opening and ribbon cutting Friday.

Oakdale’s newest restaurant—Five Guys Burgers and Fries—held its ribbon cutting and grand opening Friday.

“A lot of people are excited,” said Oakdale Mayor Carmen Sarrack. “This is  a great addition to the city.”

It’s the Twin Cities' fourth Five Guys restaurant, and more are planned, according to a press release.

District manager Ryan Dussault said they chose the spot in Oakdale—near in Oakdale Village—because of the opportunity for synergy with the other businesses in the area.

“We love the visibility,” he said. “It’s a beautiful building … and we wanted to get on the east side.”
