Oakdale Company Awarded for Technology Advancements

The local company will participate in an awards ceremony in November.

On Wed., Nov. 6, Imation Corp., an Oakdale-based company, will receive recognition for solidifying a spot as a finalist at the 14th annual Tenke Awards.

Imation Corp.--along with Honeywell and Bytespeed--is a finalist for the Computer Hardware and Electronic Devices Award, according to a Minnesota High Tech Association press release. All finalist were announced on Sept. 12.

The award “honors innovative development of computer products, equipment or consumer electronic devices,” the release says.

“MHTA is delighted by the outstanding selection of innovative technologies nominated this year,” Margaret Anderson Kelliher, president of Minnesota High Tech Association, said in the statement. “Time and time again, the Tekne Award finalists continue to prove that Minnesota remains a hub of technological advancements and achievements.”
