Oakdale Dunn Bros Coffee Celebrates Fourth Anniversary with Special Offers

Oakdale Dunn Bros Coffee will have special offers starting Monday, Jan. 21 through Saturday, Jan. 26 to celebrate its fourth anniversary.

Oakdale Dunn Bros Coffee is ready to celebrate.

It's been four years since Tom Nacey and wife Carol Trombley opened the Dunn Bros Coffee off of Hadley Avenue and Highway 5. To show their appreciation, Dunn Bros will be offering specials from Monday through Saturday.

The specials include:

  • Get 1/2lb off coffee FREE when you buy a full pound - Good through Jan. 26
  • Any muffin for $1 with the purchase of a large beverage - Martin Luther King Day, Jan., 21
  • Free Small brewed coffee - Monday, Jan. 21 and Tuesday, Jan. 22
  • Any Large Latte for $2.99 - Wednesday, Jan. 23 through Friday, Jan. 25. (soy and almond milk extra)

Nacey opened the coffee shop in October 2008. He held off celebrating the fourth anniversary so that they could kick off the new year in a special way.

"We'll start off the year with a bang here and try to get some people back in the doors," Nacey said.

Oakdale Dunn Bros is known for its community involvement and strong relationships with its customers.

"If a customer walks in and they are semi-regular then we know their drink and we probably know stories about them and their kids and grandkids," Nacey said.

Earlier this month Nacey called out for support from the community through Facebook, noting business has taken a hit since the new Caribou Coffee located in Bergen Plaza.

"I feel loyal to the people in Oakdale that have kept us in business for four years and wil continue to be loyal to those people," Nacey said.
