Burger King in Oakdale is one of five stores across the state undergoing remodeling.
Over the next few years, the popular fast food restaurant will be revamping five to eight stores a year. This year, Burger King is remodeling locations Rochester, Owatonna, White Bear Lake, Maple Grove and Oakdale.
Construction at the Oakdale location (off of 10th Street) began last week. Burger King's dining room is currently being remodeled and will also have new landscaping.
Right now the drive-thru window is the only aspect of the building that is open. After next week the entire facility — including the drive-thru window — will be shut down to finish the remodeling.
