The Truck Accessory Store: Radco Now Open in Oakdale

The Oakdale Radco is now open.

“It’s been really exciting today,” Chris Brakken, general manager, said Monday, April 15, the first day the shop opened. “We’ve had so many people that are excited that we’re moving into the area.”

The Oakdale location marks the eighth for Minnesota-based Radco, which specializes in truck accessories. Lines include: Luverne Truck, Westin, Putco, Access Cover, Edge, MagnaFlow, Thule, Curt Hitches, according to its website.

It offers an array of products, but “any built-on truck accessory is what we’re all about,” said Brakken, adding that Radco manufactures and installs its own line of aluminum toppers. (He owns a Dodge Ram.)

A number of events are scheduled for April 25-27, including a “Crazy 8s” promotion, “man feast,” and remote-controlled car races for youngsters, Brakken said. There will also be giveaways, he said.

Radco is located on the Interstate 94 frontage road at 6780 Hudson Blvd. in Oakdale. It’s the first to open in the east metro.
