It's almost been a year since a hair salon occupied 1051 Helmo Avenue.

The unit is 1,463 square feet and is in the same building structure as Quizno's Sub and the Espresso Donut Co.

The building has been around for at least seven years, said Tammy Medina of Town Lake Real Estate.

"It's all built out and could be another hair salon," Medina said. "A fresh coat of paint is all it would need."

The unit is ready with plumbing, fans and electrical.
