Visions for Vacancies: What Business Would You Like on Helmo Avenue?
A vacant half of a building at 1077 Helmo Ave. could work well for a medical or professional office, its leasing agent said, however other uses are possible, too.
There’s a new building just waiting for a tenant on Helmo Avenue north of 10th Street. What would you like to see fill the space?
Leasing agent Tammy Medina of Town Lake Real Estate said the building was constructed to house one tenant—an urgent care clinic—however the group that was going to move in fell apart after construction started. Half of the building has since been leased, however the other half remains a shell ready to be built to a tenant’s specifications, she said.
Medina said they’ve been targeting medical or other office-type users for the 7,500 square foot space, such as a dental officer or law firm, however, other uses could work too in the spot, at 1077 Helmo Ave.
