Editor’s Notebook: Adult Film Actress/Prom Date Interviewed for ‘The Daily Show’

Megan Piper, the adult film actress who made headlines for agreeing to go to prom with an Oakdale teen, was in Minnesota recently to be interviewed for a segment on “The Daily Show,” she said in an email message. She flew into town Saturday, according to her Twitter page. She said in an email that the segment is about discrimination against people in the adult entertainment industry, and it will air in about a month. After news broke that Piper agreed to be student Mike Stone’s date, School District 622 officials said she would not be allowed to attend the school’s prom.

Piper also said she met Stone while she was in town. Stone couldn’t be reached for comment.
