Two Oakdale banks celebrate anniversaries this year. A Facebook page has sprung up in honor of the woman who was hit and killed while crossing Highway 36.

1. The weather today should be mostly sunny with a high near 86, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
2. Washington County Commissioner Bill Pulkrabek will be arraigned today in Chisago County on . Pulkrabek is accused of assaulting his girlfriend in his Woodbury townhouse on Memorial Day.
3. Two Oakdale banks are celebrating anniversaries this year, Oakdale Economic Development Commission members reported at last night’s meeting. celebrates 25 years in its Oakdale location and celebrates 100 years since the company was founded.
4. A facebook page titled “RIP Alicia Galdick” has started up memorializing the woman who was killed after being hit by a car while crossing Highway 36 at Century Avenue.
5. President Barack Obama turns 50 today, or, as the Washington Post puts it, becomes a “tweener.”
