Chance of storms ... and don't forget Father's Day!
- It will be partly sunny with a high of 78 today, according to the National Weather Service forecast, however there’s a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.
- There was a major fire at a Tubman family violence shelter in Lake Elmo late yesterday afternoon, leaving the shelter uninhabitable. A Tubman board member said the need to retrofit the organization’s new site, purchased from the monastery at Larpenteur and Century avenues, is now more urgent.
