Get Out in Oakdale

Oakdale's weekend entertainment guide to the theater, crafts and the local swimming hole.

Want to get out of the hosue while the weather's still nice? Here are some ideas:




When: Friday, Nov. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Scope out the delicious Colony Sands Prairie Flower Honey, Designs by Liz, knit/crochet items, glass pendants and window ornament.
Price: Free Admission




When: Friday, Nov. 4 & Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: The comedic Mobile Army Surgical Hospital takes the stage featuring the shenanigans of Hawkeye and Duke.
Price: General Admission $8, Active and Retired Military $5




When: Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m.
Where:
Why Go: The Metropolitan Opera's 6th season of The Met: Live in HD will return to select Marcus Theatres throughout the nation. Today's viewing will feature Siegfried.
Price: $24 for adults, $22 for seniors and $18 per child




When: Saturday, Nov. 5 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: Shake things out with a short splash in the pool.
Price: $4 per adult and $3 per student/child, or $10 per family of 5




When: Sunday, Nov. 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Where:
Why Go: The inter-generational family fun event will feature music, “Sand Painting” video, skit, treats and fellowship.
