Dec. 12, 2012 - Family of Danielle Jelinek, an Oakdale woman who has been missing since Saturday, Dec. 8, is asking community members to help search for Jelinek.

We are launching a search for my niece, Danielle Jelinek, missing since Saturday. She was last seen in Center City. We are asking for help from anyone who can help us search. Walking, snowshoeing, snowmobiles, 4-wheelers, horses. Any help would greatly appreciated.

If you are unable to come up, that's ok — please send good thoughts and prayers to help us locate Dani. Please forward this email to anyone I might have missed — or to your friends, family, and coworkers.

The search will take place at Public Access at Bone Lake, which is located five miles east of Forest Lake. The closest intersection is 238th Street, just east of Lofton Avenue.

The search began early this afternoon and will last until dark.

Jelinek was last seen at a residence in Chisago Lake Township. The family called the Chisago County Sheriff's Office when Jelinek did not answer her phone on Sunday.

Deputies found some of Jelinek's belongings and her car at the residence. They also arrested a man on suspicion of drug possessoin.
