- Due to delays in payments from the state, to maintain adequate cash flow, District 622 must borrow $17 million. Borrowing costs total about $80,000.

- A group of dedicated students who are part of the DECA program persevered past the threat of cancellation to organize the first Taste of District 622 event to benefit the District 622 Education Foundation.
- A woman diffused a domestic assault in progress in Oakdale by pulling out a gun and loading it, according to a Washington County District Court Complaint.
- Oakdale’s legislators said they were happy about the surprising news of a projected state budget surplus, however they cautioned that the state still faces long term financial problems.
