An Oakdale man allegedly caused $6,000 damage to a car, firefighters responded to a house fire.

- An Oakdale man was charged with causing $6,000 damage to a business owner's car that was parked in Bergen Plaza. The man told police that another business owner put him up to it.
- Tyler Frickson, who designed a map of the Oakdale Nature Preserve trails for his Eagle Scout project, was last week's Oakdale Patch Whiz Kid.
