- Sen. Ted Lillie announced that he’ll move to Woodbury to run for office in the new senate district that includes the south part of Oakdale.
- Minnesota Department of Transportation officials say a planned reconstruction project on Century Avenue just north of Interstate 94 will make the intersection safer, but nearby business owners disagree.
- About 50 School District 622 teachers showed up at the school board meeting Tuesday wearing all black to protest their lack of a new contract agreement.

- After expressing concerns that a proposed garage at the was too big and costly, the Oakdale City Council asked parks staff to seek bids for a 40-by-40 foot garage.
