Week in Review: November 13 Edition
Here's a quick summary of what made news in Oakdale over the past week.
- Voters supported extending School District 622’s $833 per pupil operating levy for another 10 years Tuesday. We have the results, and an interactive map showing results and voter turnout by precinct. Election judges said the day went smoothly.

- An Oakdale hunter shot a rare piebald deer near Outing, about 150 miles north of St. Paul, the Pioneer Press reports.
- Oakdale City Council members said they want to make sure that a new garage planned on the site of the former nature center at the Oakdale Nature Preserve doesn’t become an eyesore.

- In police news, a car was stolen from the Carmike Cinema parking lot and the tires were stolen off a car parked in an underground lot.
- In sports: Tartan High School senior Courtney Neville played in the Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association Senior Classic, an all-star soccer game.
