- With no city elections in Oakdale or North St. Paul this November, advocates of a District 622 levy renewal said they’re worried about voters not showing up at the polls.
- Oakdale’s state legislators said they want to try to keep the Vikings in town.
- Members of the Oakdale Parks and Recreation Commission said Tuesday that they support establishing a community garden somewhere in town.
- The City of Oakdale is asking residents to sign up for the county’s CodeRED emergency notification system.
- Tartan High School’s newspaper, Plaid Press, re-launched this year with a full-color print edition, website, Twitter feed and Facebook page.

- In Sports: North High School’s boys soccer team beat St. Paul Central High School in the section 4AA title game and will now go on to the state tournament.
