 Oakdale  See map

Today 5/12/2012, from 1am to 7pm, Rooster Racing is holding an event for the benefit of Livestrong Lance Armstrong Foundation to fight cancer.  The event is being held out front of Tenacity Fitness and Endurance at 1019 Helmo Avenue, Oakdale MN.

Steve Ayers, Teri Smith and Claudia, plus his group of 64 riders, are riding 64 continuous hours to raise money for TeamArmstrong.  In August they will be going to Austin TX October 21 to ride 100 miles, hopefully with Lance Armstrong, raising money to continue the fight against cancer.  They are hoping and working to bring $5000 from Minnesota down to the rally.

"Team LiveArmstrong is an unstoppable force of athletes at all levels leading the fight against cancer.  The team competes in a range of events, distances and sports.  Anyone affected by cancer or inspired to join the fight can take a place at the starting line."  TeamLiveStrong.org
