Holiday Lights Vol. 4 Set to Hit Stores
The album is part of Holiday Lights in the Park, an annual light display and fundraiser held in partnership with King of Kings Lutheran Church in Woodbury.
Holiday Lights Vol. 4—the official soundtrack of IBEW Holiday Lights in the Park, an annual lights display and fundraiser at St. Paul’s Lake Phalen—is set to go on sale today.
The lights display, which runs from Nov. 20 though New Year’s Day, is held in partnership with King of Kings Lutheran Church in Woodbury. It raises money for Second Harvest Heartland, Union Gospel Mission, St. Paul Parks Conservancy and UnderConstruction.
The album features 15 Minnesota musicians, including Owl City and Lorie Line. The CD is available at all Kowalski’s Markets ($10) and includes a free pass to IBEW Holiday Lights in the Park.

The CD is also available online and for download at all major online retailers including iTunes.
“This year’s CD is the best we have produced to date,” said Woodbury resident Phil Thompson, IBEW Holiday Lights music director. “The CD features a great cross-section of some of the best musicians our state has to offer. We are very fortunate to have such great artists who also love to give back to their community.”

In 2011, the display, CD and concert helped raise more than $60,000 in donations.
“We take great pride in knowing we are supporting some very worthwhile causes,” Thompson said. “As the years pass, this project continues to grow and prosper.”
In conjunction with the album, IBEW Holiday Lights in the Park will sponsor a one-night concert event, “Holiday Lights LIVE!” at the historic Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis.
The concert is set for 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, and will include songs from the CD as well as other holiday favorites and features performances by Keri Noble, Robert Robinson, Alison Scott, Dez, True North, Chris Koza, John Trones, Mandy Maietta and Phil Thompson.
Tickets for the Pantages show are available online.
