Introduction to the Resident Real Estate Expert, Larry Eberhard!

Larry is the Oakdale Real Estate expert.  He has spent many years perfecting his
knowledge of the area, focusing on the challenges of the current real estate
market place and using this knowledge to assist clients who wish to either sell
or buy a home. Larry feels the Blog on the Oakdale Patch will be a great platform
for him to share his 20+ years of experience while actively engaging the
community in the dialogue/communication. His goal is to heighten the knowledge
of those that live in the Oakdale area of the local real estate topics. Many in the area engage Larry with their questions and look to him for guidance as a respected, experienced, REALTOR and community member. How did Larry acquire all this knowledge AND get so familiar with the area? It all started when…

Larry was born, raised and still lives in Oakdale.  He grew up and still lives near the last
operating farm that has been in the Eberhard Family since the 1920’s.  Larry’s courtship with Vickey Fleischauer began in 1986 after they met while he was building one of the several homes that Larry has general contracted.

Nearly eight years later, they were married and settled in a home that they built together.  Their son Noah was born in 1999 and is the love and focal point of their lives.  Outside of real estate, Larry loves spending time with Vickey and Noah, has a passion for distance running and still loves good-old, hard, physical work.

After completing his majors in Business Administration and Economics at the University of Wisconsin in 1985, Larry set out to fulfill a long-time dream: to general contract the building of a single-family home.  Having spent several previous
summers working in the residential concrete industry, Larry had forged
relationships and made contacts to combine with his book-education to pave the
way to accomplishing this dream.  For the next four years Larry continued to work in the construction industry to become a respected block layer and finisher.  In addition, he completed six additional single-family homes.

Encouraged by a Realtor who represented him on the sale of one of the homes he had built, the transition from sticks and bricks to sales and marketing was smooth and natural. 

Since that transition in December 1988, Larry has taken the knowledge,
skills, drive and determination that paved the way for success in the
construction business and applied them to what has become his real estate
career.  Larry is very connected to the Oakdale community.  He is an active
member and past president of the Oakdale Business & Professional
Association.  He also volunteers for various community events that help bring the community together, such as the Holiday Helping Hands Program, and the Oakdale Summerfest Medallion Hunt.   Honesty, integrity and good old-fashioned
hard work set the foundation for what has grown into over 1,300 successful real
estate transactions.  Larry considers each home he is afforded the opportunity to sell a genuine privilege and each client associated with that sale a cherished relationship.
