District 622 Education Foundation to Hold Fun Run

Proceeds from the event will support the 622 Education Foundation's Angel Fund program, as well as teaching grants.

The annual District 622 Education Foundation Family Fun Run/Walk is coming up.

The family-friendly event is set for Saturday, July 27, in the Polar Arena parking lot, 2416 East 11th Ave., in North St. Paul.

“This event is a fun way to support the students in our School District,” 622 Education Foundation member Doug Ronsberg said in a release. “Proceeds from the run will support the Foundation’s Angel Fund program, which serves students in need; as well as our innovative teaching grants.”

The 5K will start at 9 a.m., with a free Kid Run at 10 a.m. and a free Toddler Trot at 10:15 a.m. Registration will be open from 8-8:45 a.m. on the day of the race.

Those who sign up early will receive a free T-shirt. Registration is now available online.

Before July 13, the 5K registration fee is $20 for adults and $15 for ages 16 and under.

After July 13, the 5K registration fee is $25 for adults and $20 for ages 16 and under.

Family registrations (before July 13: $50 for a family of up to four members) can be printed off from the Foundation’s website and mailed in.
