Clue 2: Entertainment it has been, entertainment it shall remain. Locating this  year’s disc will involve much less pain. For parents, for children, for friends here’s a thought: Bub’s Daddy’s and veggies so close could be bought.

Kellie and her family had already searched for the medallion in five different parks before they found it in a baggie taped to a bench in . They spent about an hour searching for the medallion.

The Young family has lived in Oakdale for 10 years. Last year the medallion was found outside of the Oakdale Discovery Center.

"Last year the medallion was found close to our house," Kellie said.

This year was not only the Young's first time participating in the medallion hunt, but it was also their first time in Bethke Park. The family tracked down the park to search for the medallion since the first letters in the first clue were the same as Bethke Park.

Kellie's daughter, Caitrien, was actually sitting on the bench where the medallion was hidden in a baggie, but had mistaken the baggie for garbage.

"Bridgett (her sister) and I were sitting on the bench but we thought it was garbage," Caitrien said. "I couldn't settle down once we found it."

The Oakdale Business and Professional Association sponsors the medallion hunt each year. The prize for finding the medallion is $1,000. Each of the three Young children received $50 from their parents to spend at Summerfest as part of their "winnings."

The OBPA presented Kellie with the prize money Wednesday afternoon at Bethke Park. The family also gets to keep the medallion, which currently sits on their fireplace mantle.

"I don't know what we're going to do with the prize money yet," Kellie said. "We still haven't figured that out."
