Deputies Discover Man in Park After Hours Has Warrant, Drugs

Vincent William Marfell was found guilty of fifth degree drug possession.

An Oakdale man was found guilty of fifth degree drug possesion last week.

Vincent William Marfell, 19, was sentenced in Washington County District Court.

Washington County Sheriff's Deputies found three men in Tablin Park in Lake Elmo after hours on Sept. 14. Marfell, who was one of the three men, admitted to the deputy that he had a warrant out for his arrest. 

During Marfell's arrest the deputy found several pill capsules and a prescription bottle with a woman's name on it. Marfell admitted that the prescription was for his sister and he was not supposed to have the pills.

The other pills were identified as Adderall.

Marfell will serve probation for five years, a Sentence to Service for five days, random drug testing and pay more than $100 in fines.
