Original story

A driver was thrown from a vehicle Tuesday night during a rollover crash at 3500 block of Geneva Avenue North (Highway 120) in Oakdale.

The motorist suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash, and was found 100-150 feet from where the 2002 Buick Regal came to rest, according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol. Information about the driver was expected to be released Thursday.

The single-vehicle crash happened at about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 26.

The driver was speeding and swerved off and back onto the road after hitting trees on the east side of Century Avenue. The car spun and rolled twice and was upside down when it finally stopped, the report says.

The road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.
