Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Teenage Boy at Oakdale Home
Anthony L. Larson allegedly assaulted a 13-year-old boy while camping and at the home.
A 35-year-old man appeared in court Monday on charges that he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old boy while camping, and at his family’s home in Oakdale.
Anthony L. Larson, listed by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as an Oakdale resident, is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Larson allegedly assaulted the boy while they were camping in Park Rapids, Minn., in September, and later wrote an apology letter to him in which he admitted to the assault, according to the Washington County District Court complaint.

In an interview with police, the boy said that the man molested him over his clothes in his Oakdale home on two to three occasions one to two years ago, the complaint says.
Larson faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and $35,000 in fines.

His next court appearance is scheduled on Dec. 21.
