Marijuana, 'Irate Customer,' Theft: Oakdale Police Blotter

Here is a selection of incidents the Oakdale Police Department responded to from Nov. 1 to Nov. 2.

The following is a summary of incidents that occurred in Oakdale between Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 as provided by the Oakdale Police Department.

Nov. 1

  • Police responded to a theft from motor vehicle report. The complainant said that someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and took a plastic Wal-Mart bag containing multiple toiletry items. The woman later recovered the toiletry items scattered on the lawn outside of the break-in location. 
  • Police responded to a disturbance at Oakdale Goodyear involving a dispute with an "irate customer." The woman was upset because of a dispute over the bill.
  • Police responded to a theft report at Mid America Technical and Environmental Services. Two trailers were broken into. More than $450 worth of items were stolen from the trailer, including a cordless drill, a saw and glue. 

Nov. 2

  • Police responded to a report of drug activity on the 4700 block of Heather Ridge Road. The complainant said that several teen-age boys were smoking marijuana in a backyard shed. The complainant said it was habitual. Police made contact with a juvenile female at the residence who said that her brother and his friends have smoked marijuana inside of the shed in the past. Police tried to make contact with the young men inside the shed but they were uncooperative. Police could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the shed.
