A motorcyclist was transported to Regions Hospital after he was ejected from his motorcycle Saturday afternoon.

A 68-year-old Roseville man was driving his motorcycle northbound on I-694 in Oakdale when he approached some stopped traffic due to a lane closure. The vehicle behind him rear-ended the motorcyclist, ejecting him from his motorcycle, according to State Patrol's accident report.

An Oakdale ambulance transported the man to Regions Hospital. A firefighter reportedly smelled alcohol on the motorcyclist's breath, but tests showed there was no alcohol in the motorcyclist's system, according to the report.
