Youa Lor's wife testified in the murder trial of Oakdale resident Dao Xiong.

Youa Lor, the St. Paul man killed in Lake Elmo after advertising his car for sale on Craigslist, had moved with his family from the East Coast to Minnesota for a better life, his wife told a Washington County District Court jury, Fox 9 news reports.

The trial of Dao Xiong, of the Oakdale man accused of his murder, started Friday.

Wife Katie Lor was left a widowed mother of four at age 25 following the incident, which occurred last September, according to a previous Fox 9 report.
