Investigators reviewed the video surveillance from the three dates. One of the investigators — who has had previous contact with the defendent — identified Cox entering the underground garage empty-handed and leaving the facility with a bag full of items.

Cox did not live in the building and did not have permission to enter the building.

He has been sentenced to the Commissioner of Corrections for 24 months with credit for 163 days served. He must pay $2,500 in restitution to his victims in addition to fines.
